Booqyy was started in 2019 as a simple integration between two existing products: Booqable (The Rental software) and Igloo Home (the smart locks), hence our name!

It began as a simple stand-up Paddleboard self-hire station with 12 boards in regional Australia, and since then, it has grown to support rentals around the world.

Processing hundreds of thousands of orders and many millions in revenue.

Booqyy has also grown in scope. After reaching the limits of our integration with the 3rd party rental system, Booqyy grew to encompass a full rental system, with its own booking widgets, reservations engine, and pricing systems.

This has allowed us to simplify the rental experience to something purpose-built just for contactless self-hire, with things like online identity verification, GPS tracking, and more.

We believe in empowering our users to create and scale their businesses and create quality relationships with their customers instead of working at the whim of peer-to-peer marketplaces.

And to that end, we work closely with all of our users to help create features that allow them to scale quickly and grow across their many locations.

We have a long, user-driven roadmap to continue making Booqyy the product of choice for scaling self-service rental companies.

And our mission is simple:

To create a software company that can grow at a sustainable rate and continue to build extremely high-quality software that makes our customers lives easier and their businesses more profitable.
